Colorful greetings to one and all!

Welcome to my Imagination Celebration!

If you had a box of crayons, which color would you pick as your favorite?

Is the color the same now as when you were in the first grade?

I am what you would call a colorholic, I love colors all colors! However my all time favorite color has always been and will forever be Magenta. When I was a child I wanted to paint my room Magenta, but I ended up with a sickly white with a slight pink tinge, which reminds me of something a fairy might throw up, which I abhor to this day. If your going to be a color be a color not some middle of the road tinge!!!!!

Consequently I have been artistically stunted ever since and the world may never know what greatness may have sprouted from my soul had I been surrounded by the color of my soul. These days I lick my inner artist wounds by wearing magenta whenever I can.

My second favorite color in the box was TEAL! Not blue not green but a glorious combination of the two. When I lived in Hawaii I found the color in Kaneohe Bay and have henceforth referred to it as Kaneohe green. How I loved to look at the water there and drink in that color.

It is my humble opinion that EVERYONE should own a huge box of crayons. Businessmen, Bank clerks, Bus drivers, Waitresses, Doctors, Lawyers, Accountants, Postal workers, Everyone should take some time everyday and doodle and scribble their way to good mental health. Imagine the mass quantities of refrigerator art that would come into being! I dare you to scribble today and post it on your fridge today!!!! Better still now that school supplies will be on sale grab a few extra 25 cent boxes and give them to people, see if they smile and ask them to draw you something. Imagine the found art that might show up on the fridge at work! Start an Imagination celebration of your own!!! Let me know how it works out.

Spring is sprung!

I came home on March 10th from my Son's wedding and found Magical little daffodils dancing in the garden. They were everywhere. I planted them last fall when I found them at Walmart 40 bulbs for $10.00. I enjoyed them for several weeks and they slowly dried up. Then the Azeleas came on. After that the Iris' bloomed in two varieties, the tiny french ones and then the bearded ones which are still doing their thing. A few weeks ago I put in my annual planting of sunflowers and they are popping up their tiny seedlings now, how glorious they are in a few months when they become six feet tall. I love the way the garden just sneeks up and hits you in the eye with color.
